Stanziati 716,2 milioni di euro per i nuovi bandi Horizon 2020 dedicati alla sicurezza in Europa.

La Commissione Ue ha pubblicato - nell'ambito del programma europeo per la ricerca e l'innovazione Horizon 2020 - il work programme 2018-2020 'Secure societies - Protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens' con un budget di 716,2 milioni di euro.

Work programme 2018-2020

Il work programme intende sviluppare nuove tecnologie e metodi di lavoro che siano in grado di aiutare l'Ue ad affrontare le minacce alla sicurezza. Il coinvolgimento delle piccole e medie imprese è promosso attraverso argomenti (topic) che richiedono il coordinamento di una PMI.

Tutte le azioni promosse dal programma di lavoro contribuiscono alla focus area 'Boosting the effectiveness of the Security Union', che supporta le priorità dell'Unione della sicurezza, tra cui: risposta dell'Ue ai disastri naturali e per mano dell'uomo, migliore sicurezza delle frontiere, sicurezza digitale, ecc.

I bandi finanziati

Il work programme prevede tre call articolate in vari argomenti (topic): 

Primo bando: Call - Protecting the infrastructure of Europe and the people in the European smart cities

Il primo bando intende proteggere e migliorare la resilienza di infrastrutture critiche, contribuendo agli obiettivi del partenariato pubblico privato (PPP) per la cibersicurezza.

• SU-INFRA01-2018-2019-2020: Prevention, detection, response and mitigation of combined physical and cyber threats to critical infrastructure in Europe
• SU-INFRA02-2019: Security for smart and safe cities, including for public spaces

Secondo bando: Call - Security 

Scopo del secondo bando è migliorare la sicurezza dell'Ue su diversi fronti, dalla lotta al terrorismo alla sicurezza delle frontiere.

Disaster-Resilient Societies

• SU-DRS01-2018-2019-2020: Human factors, and social, societal, and organisational aspects for disaster-resilient societies
• SU-DRS02-2018-2019-2020: Technologies for first responders
• SU-DRS03-2018-2019-2020: Pre-normative research and demonstration for disasterresilient societies

Terzo bando: Call - Digital Security

Il terzo bando è dedicato alla sicurezza digitale e intende sviluppare sistemi user-friendly per protegge i dati e la privacy dei cittadini europei, nel contesto della strategia per il mercato unico digitale.
